Unresponsive tabs are getting more and more common, I can’t reply or compose new posts on mobile, I can’t attach images in replies, and every time I click “compose post” it asks me if I want to recover a garbled version of the last thing I posted.

that is not new, everytime I ever made a post, I had the same recover question...
only way to deal with the frozen tabs is to wait or kill the tab.
Kinja hates chrome. CPU and memory go high, then frozen tab, Kill tab and try again. Rince / repeat

I’ve found that content blockers really do a number on Kinja. If I disable a pop up blocker before I make a post, usually things work adequately.

I do get the ‘Recover Message?” thing any time I create a new post, but I just hit ‘No’ and it’s fine. Otherwise, it works fine for me on mobile or PC?
What browser are you using?

The recover tab thing isn’t new... I just threw it in there since it asked again when I was about to make a snarky post about Kinja’s many flaws. With the frozen tabs, I usually just do a quick copy/paste of the address into a new tab and kill the old one. I’m not patient.

Chrome. I assume my mobile problems are because I’m a cheap bastard- my ZTE Axon died after 6 months of use, so rather than spend even more on another phone, I dug an old iPhone 5 out of the closet and I’m using it until it’s dead or so slow I can’t stand it any more. It’s running an old version of iOS, and I refuse to upgrade.

I use Chrome Mobile as well on an ancient Android Samsung Galaxy Core LTE with Android 4.4.2 and it seems to work OK for me! Wish I knew what to suggest! Did you try clearing the cookies / temp files for kinja sites?

I am in the same boat as you at times. No longer able to post or attach pictures. Kinja won’t work on Firefox anymore, but it is working on chrome. If I attempt to reply to a message the tab will freeze up and crash....
